subscribing to topic

Am I missing something or has the "subscribe to topic" icon been removed?

I think that feature has been disabled due to some problems it was causing. When I first started on the forum, I subscribed to a bunch of topics and caught a lot of grief from my wife![:0] Our desktop is shared and we don't have it set up for either of us to have to "sign in" to use it. The problem was all the e-mails from forum subscriptions cluttering the account and it was driving her crazy. I had to stop subscribing to topics, it didn't bother me, but we have been happily married too long to let something so silly to make her grumble that much.

I believe our Webmaster announced last week the subscription option would be suspended pending some site/server repairs. Topics you subscribed to are still available in "My Subscriptions" but you probably won't receive email updates when there is a new post to the topic.
