  • Updated: My 259 is home!

Just got a phone call from Ken... my 259 is done and ready to be picked up! My brother-in-law and I will go up this weekend and get it. I'll post pix as soon as she touches down in O'side

    -------------------------------------------------------------------
Here she is, fresh from the shop:

Here's me, my boy Reed, and StudeKen at his shop. Awesome job! I can't wait to fire her up.

Ken found a few more interesting things as he was putting her together. Whoever did the rebuild prior to this messed up the crank hub by installing it wrong, installed both halves of the rear main seal backward, and used a substandard oil pump.

Gotta finish the trans repair and she'll be almost ready to roll. Can't wait to have her driving again!

Say Clark, you never did say what you did about a tranny for this car.[:I]

No deceptive flags to prove I'm patriotic - no biblical BS to impress - just ME and Studebakers - as it should be.

Hey Bob, I wrote you a couple times but I think my email's getting blocked - same thing happening with StudeDave. I'll try messaging you through the forum.
