  • All rust is gone, in 54 coupe

A few months ago I posted some pictures of my new 54 champion coupe with rust in all fenders and floors, in fact the head light were held in with bungie cords, ( remember??) well today the new floor panels were finished with the welding, tomorrow we will clean up the welds and paint with POR-15, all 4 fender have been changed to rust free ones, also some rust was remover and repaired on the inter panel behind the rear fenders under the rear 1/4 windows, will be putting on the trim for some pictures and then it will go on e-bay for sale and maybe go east with me to Minnesota in Oct. to a new owner, the engine turns but have not tried to start it yet, it should run, was told it ran when parked ( how many times have we heard that?) if interested talk to me..Bob

From the angles I see the fender and hood fit looks great. Nice work

Always glad to see one of my two favorite Stude body styles make a comeback.

I have used por 15 with great success. Have you ever tried the KBS product? Is it better or worse?

I don't plan on restoring this car, just do the hard parts, want to sell and deliver east next month, E-bay this week end, more pictures of today's work..Bob

7 out of 8 original nuts used to hold down the seat.

even installed the back of seat cardboard.

cleaned up the rear fenders and primed, no bondo in fenders.
