Was there a difference with the Super Red color from 1963 to 1964 or are they the same color?

Super Red was not available in '64...only Bordeaux Red. Super Red became available in the spring of '63 and only on Larks and Hawks with the complete "Super" high-performance package...I have heard of one R2 car without the complete package being built in Super Red, but know of no other non-R-powered Studes that were painted in the color. In '63, the brighter "Regal Red" was also available.

Ours is a 63. Came Super Red out of the factory. It is an R2. It gets painted next week. Thank you for your input.

Wow, rare car in a rare color! What model and other equipment does it have, if you don't mind my asking?:)

I have long wondered what happened to the Super Red '63 Lark Custom 2-door sedan with white Skytop sunroof, R2, full package, Powershift, solid black vinyl interior that was shipped new to Hollidaysburg, PA, near Altoona. Can't recall the serial no. right now. Sure would like to find that baby!

Trim line is a Custom 2 door sedan, full pkg, R2, 4 speed, front seat belts, black interior with black inserts, bucket seats and radio.

Here is a pic of the frame that I completed last month.

That frame is beautiful, Joe. Can't wait to see more progress pictures!

For those that don't know, Joe bought the 62 4dr. Skytop from me. Picture those two together, along with the Packard Wagon.

I can look at that frame all day. Sweet. I didn't realize that the stock rear sway bar sat up so high above the differential. T-bow's looks lower to the diff than that style. Of course it's still in my den. [B)] I'm switching to the '63 style front and rear sway bar upgrade this winter. That's a great view of what it all should look like! Thanks.
