        Ross,
I'm in Murrieta Ca. and was wondering if you have a full on studebaker yard there or what ?
Am building a 52/50 Commander and allways need 50 model stuff.
        Got any?
        Dean.

We've had THREE Fine Studebaker Days in a row here, Ross. []
Sorry- I have no pretty pictures like Bob's just yet, though.
I will say we moved more Studes then I've seen at some shows, though!!!

(more then one of them was a Transtar, Mark...)

The B&W C-cab is my baby. It's got the 259 V/8, 3 speed OD, 4.27 TT rear, and purrs along real nice. Will post more pictures on another thread. I bought it about 6 years ago from the same neighbor lady that sold me this current batch of 13 cars and parts. She and her late husband bought it new, and worked it hard, but as you see, it's held up pretty well. The stuff I am bringing home is the last of a 42 car, 50 year collection. We love Studes, but we love our neighbor more, so this is a labor of love. Going to her 89th birthday party Sunday, taking a Stude of course.
I did not, nor do I plan on amassing a full on Stude yard, 4 or 5 keepers and supporting parts will suffice. Most of this stuff will be resold. Sorry, no 50-52 stuff to speak of, maybe some rims. Most of it is Lark stuff.

                Bob,

I'm actually starting to recognize some of the stuff in those piles![8D]

                There's a pair of 61 Lark Deluxe fenders...several 59's as well!

Don't tell my wife...I think I caught the bug!

I'm anxiously waiting to see pictures of a certain Ermine White (?) over Desert Sand Commander that's lurking in one of those sheds. I currently have only one or two pics of the old girl and can't wait to see her in person. Can't say that I'm too chuffed about not having to transport the Commander Shell home though.

Oh, guys? I think those pics that Bob posted are of his own backyard. He's giving an example of what it's like to be in the same boat? Or is it really yours, Ross? If so, how do you keep the County of Riverside off your tail?

Hey Bob - that 59 Poncho wagon is a treasure! Rare bird for sure. What are you going to do with her?

Another day dawns, heading off to depress my tire shop buddy with dirty hard old tires on rims. I'm paying for the service, he did cut me a deal though. My wife is quite the cook, buttering up the tire (muffler, mechanic, trans, tow truck, hot rod, welding, etc) shop owners, and our neighbors who are all close friends, with cookies, brownies, home made pickled chilies, etc, has its rewards. The "big" pic's are Bobs stuff. I walk a fine line, maybe pushing the line a bit with County codes. The cars must roll and have license plates, and much of my storage is out of sight from the street. As long as my neighbors are happy (remember cookies and brownies?), no problem.
If all goes as planned, the 56 Ron speaks of, a 62 Champ, a 60 Regal VI, and a 64 four door will come home next weekend, with a load of glass, and more tires too.
Dave, looking forward to hearing about your adventure, you know we love pictures.

Yes, quite. Forgive me for forgetting to mention that lift is quite the clever idea. I'm going to show George that one. He'll love it!

Hang on to that one, Ross. Such a good partner in crime is hard to come by (LOL)!
