I have a 53 champion hardtop that is missing the trim tag on the cowl under the hood. Does anyone know of anyone who reproduces these tags?
    thanks for uyour help,

Don't know anyone reproducing them. There was some discussion here about six months ago about that.

Tom Karkiewicz has quite a selection available from dismantled cars.

What you are describing is a body number tag.

The previous discussions on reproductions that I remember was about the streamers that attach with the body tag, but not the body number tag itself.

Last week, a fellow forum member sent me three body tags for my collection. Just so happens that one of them is for a 53 Champion hardtop. Would you like to have it for your car? It won't have THE correct and unique number that was assigned YOUR car's body tub, but the upper line (it reads 14G-K5) will be correct for your car.

          Bob,
I was going to mention that you collected these but didn't want to proffer you as a provider without your inclination. You're a good man; a large man, as in one who practices largess.

Brad, I have my "moments".[^] Sam, that tag left for Arid-zona about noon today. You'll hafta paint it to match to be correct.
