A freind called me tonight looking for a carb rebuild kit for his 1950 Land Cruiser. Six cylinder with Stromberg carb.
I guess the local Flap's can't help him.
Any vendors that I can recomend?

My guess is, the local FLAPS just hasn't bothered looking.[V]
SI lists the major kit for the BXOV-26 (if that's his carb) for $70.

I got my rebuild kit for the Stromberg 2BBL on my 51 V8 from Chuck Collins at Studebaker Parts.com. At first I tried to find a rebuild kit at several of my local FLAPS but they couldn't track it down no matter how they came at it. Now that I know the same carb was used on Buicks and other Big 3 cars they could probably find it.
