C or K Hood

I am seriously in need of a 53 - 54 C or K hood from somewhere in the norhtwest or BC or Alberta. All leads appreciated.

It must be 25 years since I sold my last spare. IIRC, I sold that one for $100 and the guy drove 400 mies for it.

As a separate part, I do not think that they are that available since they only fit '53-'54 C/K models.

53-54 C/K hoods are like 53-54 C/K grill surrounds. VERY few good ones out there...ANYWHERE. It would be pure luck to find one within a couple hundred miles.

If you really want one, you will probably need to do a continent wide search (maybe even Europe and Australia). Prepare to pay big bucks for it plus some pretty hefty shipping.

I just did a quick search on craigslist and found a couple, but they are quite far from you. Texas and Ohio. It may be time for a road trip. Make a shopping list, get in your truck and do a delivery/pickup trip and have forum members help buy you gas while you deliver and pickup parts for them and yourself along the way.
