    Bob,

Is this the one that Pinky was pushing for a friend?

I'd LOVE to be able to build one of those for a daily driver. That's such a great body style, the same as my Jeep.

How much room in the back of that truck in October, Bob?

Hmmmm....IIRC, the Jeep Cherokee had separate body-frame construction. What is the wheelbase of the Cherokee versus the wheelbase of the Lark wagon? I'm sure you see where I'm going with this.......

Umm... no Paul, I'm not taking my Cherokee apart!

The old BIG Cherokee was a body and frame design, but the XJ's like mine are unit body, (and was named by Automobile Magazine as one of the 20 greatest cars of all time!)

If I could I'd love to build a 2 door Lark wagon with a V8 (259 is fine), a five speed conversion, Turner disks, and a few other comfort and safety upgrades and then I'd drive the little sucker for as long as I could get gas for it!

Except for wheels and tires it would look like this factory photo, although it would look interesting with a Champ grill and side grills. hmm

Not too shabby at all...Sheet metal over the rear side windows and make a sedan delivery!!(And yes I know that Studebaker made side panels just for this purpose.)
