need help on a stromberg ww carb code 6-112 (page 88, 1955-58 chassis catelog). does the choke level shaft #12 go "inside" or "outside" the fast idle cam #15? what kicks the choke level back when engine is hot? is it the tab on the trottle lever and shaft #43 or is it fast idel cam? all references are to the illustrations on page 88. I have two 6-112' and the choke lever shaft is different on each. picutre would be very helpful.

Geez, Alan, everytime I see the engine compartment of your car, I get inspired. Nice work.

I'm lookin' at page 88 Alan. I see the illustrations alright, but still don't understand your question.

what kicks the choke level back when engine is hot?

The Bi-metal spring inside the Bakelite housing holds the choke open when the engine is hot.

The choke lever shaft 15 goes thru the middle of bushing 13 and fast idle cam 12.
