  • Projects and Helpers

I finally got off my duff and finished my door panel project I started last year. All four panels have been completed, but still need the new carpet before I can install the rears completely. (The floor carpet goes down first, before the rear side panels.)

I designed and constructed these myself - they are covered in vinyl and the red is meant to mimic the Daytona trim on the outside.

My helper is my 13 year old son, Tristan. Here he clowns for the camera after the installation.

Right and Left sides (no flash, so it's dark). Note the Larks repeated on the door panels!

And an overall pic since I haven't had one on here lately.

I wanted to post the big pics, but maybe some can't see them will, so large images are available here : http://www.teamwetworks.com/claymore...vel=album&id=5

Those panels look great, your car is really coming along.

Are those the f*rd mustang rims? How's the clearance on those?

            Thanks for the comments!

Here is a closer, brighter and bigger shot of the driver's area. I got an extra set of the C-pillar larks and put them on the door panel. Of course, I still need arm rests, carpet, kick panels and seat covers!

Yes, those are mustang wheels - if you want to use them, they will need 1-inch spacers - you can see the spacer between the wheel and the disc in this photo.

The car is looking really great! I really like the lark on the door panels. Perfect touch! Now, all you have to do is get your upholsterer to reproduce a lark in the seat panels.
