  • Before the Cedar Rapids forum goes away.

I'd like to hear or see more about the events that members participated in. The concours, the poker run, the drag races,
and Farmers dinner got some Forum love, how about others?

How about some of the driving tours to area sites?

    Fun night? Welcome night?

    The Valve cover races?

    Area attractions?

    Childrens events?

    Scrap book pages?

    Auction?

While the concours gets represented pretty well with pictures here on the forum, its a small segment of what goes on with the Meets, Granted pictures of a seminar may not be as sexy, as a truck, it would be nice to see or hear about people who ventured out past the Downs.

Granted some of the members may be saving stories or photos for a TW issue.

I'm sure there are people who check out SDC, as forum lurkers, and wonder, what an International meet is all about? Is a meet worth participating in? Should I go for a day, or the whole week? What is there to do? Does it LOOK like fun versus a written discription.
    Thanks

I didn't participate in the valve cover races but I did watch for a while.

        Here are some pictures:

          Neat idea toyman.
I'll post some pictures of the toy Studebakers a little later.
