I remember Popular Mechanix or Mechanics Illustrated having plans to build a speedboat using the back window out of a C-K coupe.... That had to be in the early '60's... when I was a kid.

I sure wish he would have taken a profile view or a shot of the ID tag on the boat. This is very interesting.

The Studebaker Boat Company has been discussed here a few times in the past; related to the Studebaker family but not a product of the Studebaker Corporation.

I believe this is one of those kits.
Bought from a fellow who said he had the boat since the 60's

These photos posted on CanadianRodder.com by the buyer asked if anyone could guess what year make & model of car the windshield of this boat was taken from, and I said it was the back window of a '53 to '55 Studie.
And to the posters surprise, I answered right.
