Just pulling out, but wanted to share this quote; it's from the preface of a book called Americana- Roadside Memories, by Tim Steil... it speaks for me as well[8D]:
I suppose there are people in this world who are unaffected by the smell of diesel smoke. That, leaning against a truck stop gas pump at 3 AM, a warm summer breeze full of corn pollen, and exhaust fumes bathing them would not give them an urge to purchase a tall coffee, jump on the nearest highway and drive until daylight just to see what's there. I am suspicious of them.
Me too, Mr. Steil
Good Lord (and Highway Patrol) willing, I'll see you Monday afternoon![^]
