Clutch oper. shaft support bracket needed

I need this part or I can't drive my Stude on July 4th! It's part number 1552540. illustration 026-19. The flex steel is torn away from the part that actually holds the shaft. Looks like it was rivited. Think I could have it welded together? SASCO doesn't have the part. Stude Int'l doesn't list it but will search tomorrow. Saturday was the first time out this year but was able to complete a major four city cruise, before I limped home. Oh, my car is a '63 Stude Lark Custom R1 4-speed. Any help finding the part or repair advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Huck in Detroit

Weld it, or call Bob Helm, who advertises in TW. He has piles of that stuff. Getting it before the 4th, might be a little tough.
