    how about oil leaks on the 6's.what is there problem area? just gathering info. for future projects.

      a hopped up 6-cylinder might look good in a 27 t-bucket?[8D] hell i'll try anything i've even modified lawnmorrer engines (clintons) back in my day.

        The only problem that I had with a Champion six leaking oil was around the side covers when I installed the gasket wrong. The stock hub seal in the timing cover also weeps when parked, but is not a problem on the road. A modern neoprene seal would probably cure the timing cover leak.
        Bill Cathcart's site has pictures of some dressed up sixes if you haven seen them.
