    This eMail from Ted...

"I wonder if you would post this for me on the SDC site (and probably would be good to put it on all three sites). Jeff seems to be everywhere finding info on Stude people and I had no idea he had been given this award. I think it's time to let others know about this award he received. Maybe others know about it but I did not. He must spend a lot of time and energy doing these positive things so I think others need to know he has been recognized for some of his talent and efforts.

    Thanks.

    Ted"

Congratulations Jeff! A well deserved recognition.

I did not know that the SDC Board had decided to create an award in John Brichetto's honor. This award is a great way to remember John's contributions to SDC and the Studebaker hobby.

I remember the first time I met John, at a NCSDC Tri-State Meet in the early '80s. He made me feel welcome and like an old friend within just a few minutes. I cherish the many hours that I spent just sitting with John at Studebaker meets and talking (about Studebakers and other things) over the years. He is missed by many.

        Again, congrats Jeff!

Well I'll be.....[:0] Is this "THE" same Jeffster Rice [8D] that I know? []

Juuuust kidding! [)] CONGRATULATIONS Jeffster! I KNEW that SOMEbody, SOMEwhere HAD to give you an award for ALL of that kewl and usually completely obscure stuff that you have had the ability to root up out of cyberspace!

NOW, if they only had such a nice award for someone who has been such a great friend, LOTS of us, (ME in particular), would have to be congratulatin' ya again!
