I always have liked the tasteful rear design of the 62 the best, so rich & uncluttered.

      60 Lark convertible
      61 Champ
      62 Daytona convertible
      63 G.T. R-2,4 speed
      63 Avanti (2)
      66 Daytona Sport Sedan
      59 Lark wagon, now V-8, H.D. auto!
      60 Lark convertible V-8 auto
      61 Champ 1/2 ton 4 speed
      62 Champ 3/4 ton 5 speed o/drive
      62 Champ 3/4 ton auto
      62 Daytona convertible V-8 4 speed & 62 Cruiser, auto.
      63 G.T. Hawk R-2,4 speed

            Rich--

Hey, nice surprise! Were you aware yesterday was my birthday? If not, how freaky...

That pic was taken late last summer on the morning of the Hamilton Chapter's economy run...on the way out to the meet-up I drove through the neighbourhood that has South Bend Road in it and stopped for pix. (I also have shots of my 62 on Lark Avenue in Burlington.)

BTW, Betty was out of action less than a day; Neal adjusted the regulator and topped up the oil...apparently, somewhere, the Lark actually DOES leak, despite the lack of evidence to that effect, as she was low on oil. (Guess that confirms she's a genuine Stude!) So my 62 is back on the scene after a fleeting absence. Actually I didn't really miss a cruise either; the Chapter meeting was Monday evening and I went to that--in Jessie the Pretend Wagonaire--instead of the Hutch's cruise...

Thanks for the post--made my day!

            S.
