  • Hey you Washington State guys

Anybody know this truck. I was thinking about buying it to cruise around Cedar Rapids for a week, and around home until my current projects are done, then selling it later. Anybody going to cedar rapids from the NW that could transport it if I buy it?

It says needs a rear pinion seal, could it still be driven like that without major problems?

I can't offer transport..but I can offer outside storage if you buy it and have to wait for a truck heading east.

No it could not be driven very far, it says it is a Pinion BEARING that is bad. This is a heavy 1 ton flatbed with a 169 c.i. Engine, and 4 speed, available but not a good match.

It's in a dry eastern WA dessert location, but it's not ready to drive if sitting and needing brakes, pinion seal, etc.
It's not a highway cruiser, but could be another fun project to put back on the road.

It's been for sale a couple times before- body looks OK but I think it would need work to be roadworthy.
