Gord Richmond came by for a visit yesterday. He'd come over from Bob Peterson's after picking up the black Avanti he now owns. I gave Gord a part for Steinkamp's Daytona and also loaded up the makin's for a full-flo 224. He's gonna drop that stuff off at Ken Pyle's place so Ken can build it for me.
His visit was too brief, but he was headed to Modesto to partake of the American Grafitti festival.

Right at 3,200...depending on side trips.

Gord should be here early next week. Hopefully I can talk him into staying a few days.

Well, I'm currently in Modesto. Spent the day at the car show with David and Anne Goodman and Bruce Novak. Now I'm sitting in the motel parking lot with the laptop because I cannot get a wifi signal in the room. I filled the Suburban in Visalia, and it was showing about 1600 miles on the trip odometer at that time, IIRC. First fill was Bonner's Ferry, Idaho, second Klamath Falls, Oregon, and third Visalia. Next fill will likely be Oregon again.

It's been a great trip, so far.

Thanks for the offer, George, but I don't relish the prospect of towing a car trailer through SF urban traffic. I spent a day and half at the car show in Modesto, and met up with David and Anne Goodman, and Bruce Novak. had a fine time there, and got northbound again about 1:00 P.M. Currently at Redding with Fred and Johnna Cook.

Hey Gord, If you plan a pit stop between Tacoma and Seattle, I'll buy lunch! It's been since Spokane...what, '05?
