  • An Important SASCO Upholstery Point

If you are looking for complete sets of top of the line electropleated seats for 63-65 Studebakers at SASCO in popular color combinations like black/black, black/white, etc., you'll probably be disappointed (especially if you're looking for bucket seat covers). However, SASCO has bins and bins of the custom cut electropleated pieces (both "tuck and roll" and "squares")in black and in white, if you're willing to get seats made using the pieces. I saw all sorts of different shapes and sizes.

Sounds like you're having fun, Scott! I washed mine in the hotel bathtub when I got back. The room smells better after that!

There's nothing like that smell of the stuff that was out in the open. I still smelled it in my rental car days after sending the one open piece home.

A small price to pay to get the original stuff or to find a needle in a haystack.
