62 Daytona that debuted end of last year, with a nice Ch*v for company...

Pretty turquoise 63 Avanti was for sale ($16.5K iirc); engine is an Oldsmobile V8.

Hadn't seen this one in ages. Lovely, lovely 37 Dictator sedan, seen here drawing a crowd even as dusk fell. It took the owner about twenty minutes to leave; people kept stopping to chat! To my eye, the 37 Studes are the quintessence of Art Deco car design (and the closely related Coupe Express is the prettiest truck ever built)...

Earlier on, the engine in the Dictator...

...and the immaculate, and said to be all original, interior.

Must have been a Colorado car when new! Ain't no "Greeley" in Ontario so far as I know...

Great pictures. Thank you for posting.
It's good to see older Studebakers on the forum.

Chris--

OK, your wish is my Commander...:D Few more pix from last Wednesday's M'view:

The Olds-engined Avanti again...I really like this colour on these

All three of these are SDCers' cars; the couple with the Ford also have a gorgeous 63 Daytona droptop

Hamilton prez Barry ("studee64") departs in his superb 64 GT; my 62 Lark is visible behind (there were no fewer than four 62 Larks at this cruise).

And for fun, a silly shot of me taking a picture of me taking a picture of the left front hubcap of the 37!

Cool "silly shot" Steve. Lots of things Studebaker in that shot. I like the rose mist pants, btw. :D

David--

Hee hee! The jeans do look a bit Rose Mist, don't they. They're actually maroon (or at least they were; they're somewhat faded). I work at McMaster University, whose school colours are maroon and grey, so when I found maroon trousers I had to get them to add to my at-work wardrobe!:D

There are three other Studes visible in the hubcap reflection. Nine Studes were at the cruise, which is a medium-size Stude turnout for the M'view events...
