I see yours came with the little-known GPS option - new, I believe, for '64?

I think the GPS is aftermarket, as I don't see it mentioned on the build sheet!

Looks like a nice car. Is that the original paint? And it must run okay to have made it home from half way across the country with only one breakdown. You're having too much fun. :)

Nothing wrong with a four door Stude. I like 'em. [^]

Paint is about 75% original. Only things to give out during the trip were the points, all four headlight bulbs and Nikki's patience! United Airlines helped Nikki and the kids get home, AutoZone had the points and the low beam lights, Jim McCuan had the tools, and I got home Monday morning.
Put in one of Bill Cathcart's rebuilt distributors and set the timing and she runs pretty good! Got some leaks (It IS a Studebaker!) and stuff to fix, but she'll get there![8D]

So thats what my parts car looks like shined up, I have a 64 Cruiser parts car in the same color, it's loaded with AC PS. But it had sat in the elements for years.

Let me guess: disc brakes as well? I saw the single pot MC peeking out from under the hood.

And as the others here stated: me likey as well :)

Borrowed Bams50's sigline here:

"Do they all not, by mere virtue of having survived as relics of a bygone era, amass a level of respect perhaps not accorded to them when they were new?"

All the compliments![:p]
Looks like I found a good one!

Now to answer a couple questions:
Nikki's shirt says Nike.
Factory power disk brakes.

The name 'Studebaker' is so small on the front of the car, I had a license frame made up to make it easier for the rest of the world to tell what it is.
