I might have access to a 64 2 door California car with no engine or trans, any one interested let me know and I will talk to owner, he is also the owner of the black 64 Daytona hardtop I have on E-Bay right now.

What a gorgeous 64 Commander, and an R2 powered car to boot! Also you just can't go wrong with a set of Cragger Super Sport wheels, they look great on almost any 1960's car.

It might be hard to generate interest Bob, since he's unrealistically high on the one he already had you list[xx(]

Hmmm, how to make my point without being crude. That car makes me feel like a boy during puberty who just found out about girls...

A coupla things on this here particular Lark:

He races it quite regularly. [}:)]
He does his own work, which isn't limited to paint and body work(That's his blacker than the blackest black paint [}:)]).
He tunes em to run. There was that much talked about clinic in the parking lot with an ill functioning carb in SB in '07, and then there was the clinic I watched where he and his boys were figuring a way to get a little more punch from the carb in preparation for running at Osceola. I learned quite a bit about adjusting secondaries that night, since I had the same problems :D. He had a pair of very nice, very tall cheater slicks on the back of that beast for awhile.
He's one of our chapter members, a great guy to be around(whether to shoot the breeze or share a cold one), and I know him very very well :D :).

Yeah Baby, if this is the Black 64 that was at South Bend in 2002 with the slicks on it, this car is why i have a 64 now, actually my car was for sale at the fairgrounds in 2002 before it was restored. Had 29xxx miles on it then and rusty fenders.
These 64s sure do look good in Black huh.

What can you say about this car other than what has already been said. It is a beauty alright!

Nice shots of the car by the Engineering(SASCO) building!
I'm fortunate to know Ed and to live right down the street from him too.:D

Interesting...Max asked me after the meet which car I'd like to have acquired thereat...and the two that came to mind were this Commander and the 62 Lark wagon. Looks like my tastes run strongly toward Lark-types owned by gents named "Ed"!

Here are two more pix of Mr George's stunning '64...
