  • Kudos to our own Dick Steinkamp

In the new TW our own Dick Steinkamp has a great article detailing the purchase, history and restoration of his pretty Ute. It's a good
read. It must be nice to have such an unusual car and its entire history. Way to go Dick

Got my TW a couple days ago and meant to comment too, but what else can be said? Oh, I know. My wife even read the TW article (I could count the number of times she has done that on the fingers of one hand and still have several left). She thought the Ute was beautiful, especially the interior. Of course she also liked the Chippewa Green (but we have a little bias there).

I might never get to rear about it since I only got my May TW a week ago and I don't live in tim buck too but why are people getting there in the 2nd and 3rd weeks of May ? I have been told they all go out at the same time , that is one thing I don't believe, it looks like people that pay for first class mailing even get them sent first, sounds like the government way to me pay more and get extras, BS to that...Bob

Certainly great!! Loved it! I keep showing my wife the pictures, trying to get her to show some interest...so far...zilch...oh well. She entertains my obsession, so that is about all I can ask for!

Chico is one of Northern California's best kept secrets and is just north of Sacramento (about 96 miles)!!

Home to one of the largest municipally owned parks (3,670 acres) and Chico State University, it's been ranked #10 of "100 Best Small Art Towns in America" and named the "#1 Cycling Community in America".

A city surrounded by orchards and rice fields (yep that's where all your CA rice and almonds come from), Chico is referred to by some as an island of sorts and a place where you'll meet some of the nicest people
