Finishing up my 56 wagon. Got new oem weatherstrip and I want to try to find some thicker product. The org. stuff is OK BUT with all the body and floor work I did I would like a thicker softer fit. Anyone know where I might find some universal product? Thanks

See if anything here fits your fancy. http://www.carparts.com/Trim-Univers.../600022824.car

Others like soft-seal (sp?) usually have universal weatherstripping.

Some works great on the 54K

You might also try www.steelerubber.com or www.studebakerparts.com
I recently purchased a fuel pump from studeparts, and the shipping was fast, price was pretty good too. Hope that helps a little bit.

        Hey Ken,
I have most of tailgate rubber/ weatherstrip if interested. Bought it years and years ago to use it on my 57 Broadmoor. Owned it from 89 to 02, it was my road car. Never quit driving it long enough to do any restoring. Let me know and price will be free plus shipping. If shipping ain't much you can have that too. I'll never use it.
