The indoor pic of the 58 Packard Hardtop.....were the fins painted the same color as the roof of the car?
Do you have any additional pics of the fins?

58PackardWagon, if the photos taken by bridgegaurd don't answer questions you have about the '58 Packard, I'll be happy to get any additional information you need on the car. I am at the California Auto Museum every Thursday. Let me know what you need.

Sorry i don't remember what color the fins were and those are the only pics i have. Couldn't spend a lot of time there as we had a plane to catch.

It looks to me like the fins match the roof as they should, they appear White but could be that Beige that was flesh color like many had.
That is a very sharp car! [^]

I think that... one of the special "high lights" of this meet (for me) was the presentation of the #9 Avanti! (Ya' gotta' love The Salt Flats, if you are a car nut!).

The back ground story of how it got to this meet, and all the effort involved, should be told. The story board that they had made, the car, the folks that got it there, have my deepest appreciation!

It was "rolling" Studebaker history-before your' eyes! Did you hear it's "sound" when they fired-it-up?

I want to thank everyone, that was involved, in getting this car there. It was special to me!

Thanks,

Steve
