How Daisy found me.
Background I am the President of the San Joaquin Valley Chapter of the Studebaker Drivers Club. I drive my Studebakers and I also try to find homes for Studebakers. We had 7 Studebakers at the Tower Car Show ,a couple came up to us and said they had a 1954 Coupe for Sale. Well we went and looked at it turned out it was Fred Damsen's niece she bought the car from her Uncle in 2000. They trailered her to Fresno where she was mainly in a Garage. She got to come out a few times to cruise around but mainly was in a garage. I thought that it would be great for her to come back home to see her friends. See she was a member of the Karel Staple Chapter for many years. So for the past three weeks she got her brakes done , fuel pump, all lubed up, borrowed some tires from a Hawk, lights working, valves adjusted, new paint on her Valve Covers. She also got cleaned up lots of elbow grease on her Chrome and Stainless. She wanted to look her best. I named her Daisy.
* Special Thanks to David my husband for helping to get Daisy up to snuff for the trip.
* Thank you to Bruce and Margo Novak of Norm's Signs in Fresno for Donating her Name Vinyl.
* Thank You Stephen Rainville for helping to arrange this Special Member A Homecoming.
