    anyone know how many factory bullet nose convertibles were made for each year??

        I couldent resist.... its my all time favorite drop top.

          Yes, because it started as a regular production body and was modified durig build.

              i went and looked at it today.. it is pretty sad but all there.. i have yet to talk to the owner to see what it takes to buy it.. also a 61 lark VI 2 door thats fairly solid.
              any suggestion on value of a rough but repairable 50 convertible champion?

                "Rough" to me means $1000, or less. Of course rough is one of those loose terms that means different things to different people.

                  rough.. no top, needs floor pans doesnt run or drive , needs rockers, paint is pretty well gone. rough..lol

                    It may still be a worthwhile restoration, if you can find an equivalent F body sedan for a parts car. The bulletnose convertibles are quite valuable. Be sure to get the right year, as there are not very many interchangeable parts between the 50's and the 51's. If the top frame is restorable you are in luck, as the top parts are the hard parts to find. Only you know if you are able to take on this type of major restoration.

                      I've been looking for four years for a 50 Champion convertible. If in 2+ or better condition
                      they sell for 28 t0 30 grand. More than I can afford --but--This one sounds like it might be restored for under $20,000, How about a few pictures?
