I am certain my dad's 63 Hamilton-built GT had the TT on the gas lid. My friends always asked what it meant.

My grandma's '63 GT has the TT emblem on the gas lid. Been there since October 1962.

You gotta love being a Studebaker judge

So far, two absolutely sure that they own '63's with factory original TT badges and two who are absolutely sure the TT badges stopped in the '62 model year.

Somebody is going to be unhappy getting their car judged (either a '63 owner WITH TT badges matched with a judge who's convinced they shouldn't be there...OR a '63 owner WITHOUT TT badges matched with a judge who's convinced they should be there ).

Dontcha think there might be just a couple more examples like this [:0].

Are you sure that you ENJOY having your car judged? [}]

For what it's worth (most likely not much!), I have never seen a post-'62 Studebaker with "TT" emblems.

Here's a pic of my grandma's '63 GT Hawk gas lid. The car has been repainted once, but is otherwise a 65,000 mile, original car. Maybe it being an early car is why it has the TT emblem. It was built in October 1962. And I think it may be #72, although I can't recall for sure. I'll ride out and have a look though.
The red paint is faded away from years of sitting out.

I guess we're in the clear Dick. We haven't had a car judged in a long long time. We just drive them to shows to enjoy them. My uncle always said that he doesn't need a judge to tell him what's wrong with his cars, he already knows.
