  • Avanti Upper Front Windshield Trim

Anyone have a nice example they'd like to sell?

I'm having my windshields installed next week and noticed today that mine is cosmetically damaged.

I'll end up installing the one I have unless I can source a nicer one.

    Thanks ~Will

If it's stainless, you can have it fixed for the cost of an NOS and not know the difference.

Mine was twisted and dented but I fixed it myself with a little tapping and filing, sanding and buffing. Not too difficult and you will have to remove your windshield again if you put the bad one back on and decide you want to fix or replace it.

On its way to a 15.097 Spring 2006.

My piece is not repairable -it is badly pitted almost as though it was rusting[:0]

I'm really not sure how it could have sustained such damage. The only thing I can think of is that someone let the DA sander get away from them when the car was stripped and prepped for new paint.
