  • Studebaker Speed Records

During the Studebaker salt flats assault on the record books in 1962, literally hundreds of records were set. Does anyone have information as to whether any of these records remain?

Dont look like it, oldest record i saw was 1974 in production coupe & sedan, way too much technology since 1962.

None remain, but the Studebaker speed record runs were a spectacular feat.

These records were not SCTA records were they? What was the governing body that established them as records?

It was USAC if I remember right. My Avanti Record banner is at the SNM or I'd look to be sure.
