I wonder what headlight assemblies are in the Hawk in the center?

It's like I've died and gone to heaven. When I get ready to meet the pearly gates, there better be a Studebaker junk yard there, or I'm leaving.

They look like late 90s - early 2000s Mercedes E or CLK Class units, but they have trim rings which the Mercedes don't have.
            Who knows, maybe even Beetle?
Not a bad custom touch (IMHO), something like that could match the front of the fenders with the slant of the grille.

The headlights look like either VW or Fiat 850. BTW, where is this place??

Since they are all Hawks in the grass, they must be nesting.

VW was also my first impression on those headlights.

The only car plated is the older split window Champion. Somewhere in California. That's so unfair.

Since you mention Reno, there is a seller who advertises Studebaker cars and parts often in a Northern CA swap magazine called Cruisin' News. He is from Yerington, NV. The mountains in the back ground makes it a possible candidate for location.
