Neat Speedster?

The VIN will reveal if it was a Speedster. If it was, someone messed with it big time. "Not that there's anything wrong with that." Water under the bridge. I like the front seats. Back seats look unsittable and the grill is.......for want of a better word, ugh!
If it was a Speedster, it could be again.

Yes, it was originally a Speedster (assuming the serial plate has not been tampered with). Assembled on Feb 19, 1955 and sent to Greenwood, Mississippi. Body #6H K7 779. Color was the Hialeah Green/Sun Valley yellow combination.

Bob, I noticed that dash as well. That alone could be a major clue. Notice the rear side panel is Speedster design also. Another clue. Maybe a cheap way of buying into a rare car. Sadly, though, it would no doubt take more money to put it back together than it would take to buy one already done. UGH.

The grille appears to be from a '53 Plymouth. Part of it, anyway. We've got to quit saying, "How stupid can you be?" Too many people are taking it as a challenge.

What Biggsie said.
I can see why it's for sale...
They couldn't figure out how to route the top radiator hose.
Or the bottom, for that matter.

(BTW: Anyone remember the spoof Motor Trend (IIRC) played back in the early 60s when they road-tested a Corvair?
They listed the options and prices on the vehicle being tested...and among the options, they listed anti-freeze (this being back when it might have been a seprate option, unlike today).
A few readers caught it, and they said in response to Letters to the Editior that they had caught the error in proofing, but decided to leave it in there to see how many people would notice and comment, seriously.)
