Who from the SE is going to South Bend?

I've found a transmission in Michigan, and it can be delivered to South Bend in May, or the Iowa national meet. Shipping would be a deal breaker, so is anyone from the SouthEast going to South Bend or Iowa that could pick it up?

I'm going to South Bend to pick up some engines and stuff. I will be happy to pick your transmission up and get it at least back to North Carolina or maybe closer. I've never see a Studebaker farm in Georgia!!
