It looks great Bob, looks to me like the Standard '64 Red, the Bordeaux Red, a Solid color not Metallic, and not as Maroon as Avanti Metallic Red.
This is just a Dark Red with a slight touch of Brown, no blue tint.

The stance does look correct Allen, [^] all '63 & '64 GT's have extra body shims in the rear, to prevent the driveshaft "rap" that '62's have.

Interesting note is that either 3 or 4, I forget, Bordeaux Red, with black vinyl Sportroof R2's were produced in '64. Three survive.

I was told only 3 that color and the 1/2 roof detail and full package, this one has every thing except a/c even the little things recliner seats, Am/Fm, both head rests, all black interior except the headliner,power shift, all the package items. And yes Paul this is the one I asked you about in Ga. but went and got it myself, but I know if I would have had you look at it it would have worked out the same way.this was restored in 1989 and on the back cover of T/W in Sept. of 89, work was done by my friend Jim Spivey before he retired and moved back to Ga. he passed away a few years ago and his wife asked if I was interested in it my answer was put a price on it.
