  • Studebaker March Madness In Arizona ....many pics

As a follow-up to Denny Lockman's post, here are some pictures from today's All-Arizona March Madness Studebaker Gathering. This is just a small representation of the vehicles present. We wanted to make sure to post it separately due to the high number of photos.

The event was held at South Mountain Park in Phoenix. The site and the weather were gorgeous! There were 76+ Studebakers present, along with hundreds of enthusiasts. We would like to say that we can identify all of these cars and their owners, but they came from all over today! We just sat back and enjoyed our first meet with two Studebakers. Thank you to Denny and the Grand Canyon Chapter of the SDC for organizing and hosting this event! We know that a lot of work went into making today's gathering such a success.

It was nice to meet George in person! He's quite good lookng and well preserved. The little orange M was glad to see Thayer too--she was afraid his heart had been stolen by that hot-pink hussy with the matching golf cart. Next time they meet he is welcome to hop in and take her for a spin--she likes kids.

It was a great day. I just felt bad that I didn't manage to get the brak restoration and exhaust work done on my Champion so that I could bring it out there. I just put the photos I tool online as well.
