I'll also put this 'update' to my earlier post about this dealership in the "Studebaker Dealers" thread, but does anybody remember this Stude dealer at 111-112 Third Avenue S.W. in Aberdeen?
Since my earlier post in "Studebaker Dealers" thread, I've learned that what I thought was "Dakota Motors" was actually spelled "Dacotah Motors".
A new co-worker's grandfather owned the place. The grandfather's name was Ingolf S.R. Maurseth (better known as John Maurseth). After Mr. Maurseth's death in 1958 or so, it was run for awhile by his son John Maurseth.
My coworker is not a Stude buff per se but is interested to know there are folks out there who are and who are interested in the history of old Stude dealerships.
Anybody have any info on the place?
Thanks,
