I stuck a Carter AFB on her and felt like blasting down the highway today. Had to make sure that my wipers worked at high speeds...

Great car and a awesome signature picture with headlights!

Whoa! that's a little scary going 90 in the rain holding that thing with one hand and the wheel with the other! You need a neck or helmet CAM! [:0] Gotta admit though, I didn't see any wiper lift, the high speed test was successful! [^]

You know they say those AFB's can get better mileage than a 2 Brl.
Yeah RIGHT! Just TRY and keep your foot out of it! LOL!

Take it easy buddy, we want to keep you around awhile!

Nice video!!! If you 'Rain-X' the windshield- you won't need the wipers above about 45 MPH. Trust me on this one... [:0]

Rich, this thing drives as nice as a new one. One hand on the wheel is all you need. [^] And yes... The Speedometer is a little optimistic.

I was reluctant to put the AFB on it, because I knew I wouldn't be able to keep my foot out of it. But, gas is cheap right now.

Dave G., I bought some Rain-X today. Even though my wipers work fine, they don't remove much water. [xx(]

but, methinks Matt's speedometer reads many miles fast. This is a good thing.
Yeah, I have never had a Cyclops Eye that was much better than 5-10 Miles fast! Nevertheless, that's TRUCKIN! [:0]

                  That sounds like an oxymoron.

Fun ride indeed, Matt. Thanks for the video.

BTW, how many miles does the car have on it? You said it "drives like a new one." BP
We've got to quit saying, "How stupid can you be?" Too many people are taking it as a challenge.

Dick, you know how well those Stude wipers work. [xx(]

BP, it shows 96 thousand and somethin'. About 700 more than what it showed when I first bought the car.

All it 'needs' is new shocks, and they're on order.

Great ride Matthew,I'm sure you are enjoying that 58 more than about anyone on this group would. These cars were meant to drive, just do regular maintance and it will last a long time. when you get those new shocks on it it will be so smooth amd quiet.Add a new muffler and you could actually hear the radio. Great riding with you.

That does shift nicely, Matthew. What a fun car for a video. Next time mount the camera on the rear interior deck so we can watch you punching it.

Pretty impressive (and a bit scary). Come to think of it, I did some less than smart driving when I was your age.
I was glad to see you finally got in the right hand lane. It must be a southern thing. Everytime I drive in the southern part of Virginia and North Carolina, drivers seem to insist on driving for miles in the left hand lane even though signs say "Keep Right Except to Pass".
