Somebody's been busy!!! Remember this car from about six or eight months ago? Someone in New Mexico ([?]) put it up on eBay~ this guy won it. He cleaned it up a bit, then listed it on eBay about a month later, but it didn't meet his reserve. A little more work, and it looks TONS better now, don't it?
DIG IT DIG IT DIG IT!!!!

Gonna be a fun one to watch- 'fer sure!!!

That's sweet from front to back! 3rd-row seat... perfect dash cap... hound's tooth door panels! What more could you ask for?

Beautiful! Is that the correct material for the seats?

The door panels are wrong 'fer sure. The seats~ I'm not so sure they belong.
Mine isn't a wagon, so I'll leave that to the experts... [^]

Holy smokes you could of knocked me out of my chair tonight. This car was sold about 4 years ago in NY. It had a funky paint scheme and needed a ton of work. The new owner has a ton of cars and has two very, very nice 58 Packard Wagons. I was shocked to see this one for sale. I have sold this individual a number of parts and he is a great guy to work with and very honest. In terms of originality engine is not the correct color and surprised that it does not have a power boster for the brakes, seats and door panels are not correct fabric or pattern. He did an outstanding job getting the dash and paint redone. There is some serious money in this restoration vs how it looked when he bought it.

Do you know what he did to get the dash that nice? I bought a complte 1958 Dash off EBAY recently that in my opinion has a reworkable dash pad but it is a bit dry. I don't know where to start but I think it can be saved.

Beautiful car. I'd own it in a heartbeat. But what is this seller trying NOT to say here??? "Runs great, but could use some fine tuning."
Anyone wanna interpret that for me?

As stated above this is NOT the car from New Mexico.
I jumped the gun. The serial numbers do not match.
Provided this one didn't come from the NM car~ it is now safe to say that there are at least TWO '58 Packard wagons running around with the 3rd seat option.
