  • 'Cleo' gets some press...

So, this past Saturday I took Cleo (my '58 Packard) to the 'Big Three' Swap Meet at Qualcom Stadium in San Diego~ This event is in it's 43rd year!!! The San Diego SDC always has a few spaces set up to get the word out, and the like. This year~ I took a chance and brought something a bit different~ just for kicks. I met alot of folks due to the fact that she was the 'One and Only' of her kind there...

Any press is 'good' press as far as I'm concerned!!! What say you [?] [?] [?]

Great article, Dave; congrats! Good press. (Are you really only 40 years old?) BP

Sorry, Dave; I was thinking wisdom age, not chronological age. BP

Nice job, Dave. Gotta love those unrestored '58 sedans.

Too bad the Weekend Driver isn't the Weekend National Enquier where the exposure would be Nation wide and so many people would be given a chance to learn about a "Premium Orphan."

Some people were asking StudeDave57 if
he was really only 40 years old and he responded he will be 39
in July......will c'mon people we all know that Jack Benny was 39 yrs
old for years! And his Maxwell always agreed.[:I]

                            Nice article Dave!
You should bring that Packard up for the NW Overdrive, or Can Am Meet.

As much fun as that would be- she's not up for a trip quite like either of those just yet. She won't be for a while~ there are others in line ahead of her that are farther along. One of those cars might just make it to the Zone Meet. Cleo will be getting done 'right' when her time comes~ and shown off accordingly... [^]
