  • Hawk Grill

I am looking for something that appears to be very hard to find. What I am looking for is a grill for the 1964 Hawks. Any ideas?

Keep you eyes peeled. A 63 will fit perfectly but has a medalion cast in the top center. You just missed a NOS 63 on ebay. Went for near 600. Cost about that much to chrome one. What you need is attainable. If you can settle for used and possible in need of replate there out there. If youre lucky you may find a NOS but it will be up there as far as price but worth probably 600 to 1000. Used 50 and up depending on condition. jimmijim

More than 600 made. 'Bout twice that. More grilles made than cars. jimmijim jimmijim

Have you called Sasco? Its not listed in their parts lookup, but when I was up there a couple weeks ago, I thought I glanced one partially covered by other stuff on one of the glass display cases on the next aisle over from the cash register. I'm talking about the center grille, not the molding. Dan

That's what I was wondering. Do you need the grille mesh and the outer ring or just one of them?

I've got a complete grill including the emblems & hood ornament for sale. By emblems I mean the Hawk and R2. The grill is smooth at the hood ornament (1964 models). Great for a daily driver or could be replated for show for $500

I just sold the 63 nos GT grille surround and believe me they are hard to come by in nos form, the 64 is cheaper to rechrome since it is plane on top but still plan on a few dollars never the less, I have 1 or 2 used 64 around and if you want to e-mail me we can talk candbstudebakrs@sbcglobal.net they cost around $40.00 to package and ship in the lower 48 states they need to be packaged as not to get broken.....Bob
