  • Cusstomizer cast-offs

Got wind of a guy cusstomizing a 2R truck that's only about 2 miles from me. Called him up and asked what he planned to do with the stuff he is removing. I'm gonna end up with a run-worthy Champ 6, OD tranny, front and rear axles, steering sector, etc, etc. It's me or the scrap yard![:0][^]

Good save! It's a shame when rodders scrap a good stock drive train. I was once offered a Studebaker six by a man who had built a rod, but he had left it sitting with no protection in his yard for several years. [V]

are people who will buy...yes buy...items like the ones
Biggs got. They scrap them usually because they want it
gone but dont know who to talk to.Most will give the parts away

I got a lot of trim and the brakes off of a '61 Hawk that was being turned into a stock car several years ago. I used some of the stuff and gave other restorers a great deal on what they were looking for. KEEP OUR EYES OPEN WHEN YOU TRAVEL... Studes show up in the darndest places.

Hey I have the whole front end and 259 motor that I can't give away. Suspension, springs you name it I hate to scrape it. But looks like I am going to have to.
