  • Yuma Studebird Update

Our resto guy promises that it will be done by the 27th even if he and his two helpers have to work on it day and night. We have converted from 6-V to 12-V, added AC, PS, PB, and repaired some rusting in roof. Hopefully, only headliner, nicer upholstery, and carpet in trunk will be needed for final touches. This process started 5 1/2 years ago after bringing car from South Dakota. I will finally post pictures after talking about this T-Bird look-alike on the forum for the past two years. Thanks to several forum members for voicing support, especially Dick Steinkamp who relieved my anxiety about a car that was customized over 50 years ago. We are planning to show it for the first time on March 7-8 at Midnight at the Oasis show here in Yuma, AZ. Several Studes from Phoenix area are planning to attend. Details, Denny?
