  • Need pic of a 57 GH air cleaner.

I have an air cleaner for my 57 GH, but I think the top is missing. Does anyone have a photo they could post?

    Thanks

This is a complete air cleaner. I sold this one on eBay about two years ago for $460.

Anne's picture is good, but the original setup has molded elbows between the air cleaner and the supercharger and between the supercharger and air box plus one (maybe two- can't remember) short pieces of straight rubber tube.

That picture was of a Golden Hawk that I saw at the Pacific Southwest Zone meet.

Okay, thanks. That's what mine looks like. I didn't realize that the filter element just hung out in the open like that. I thought that I was missing some type of cover that went over it.

No problem you ask we try to answer. I'm learning about the 57 57 Goldenhawks myself. We bought a 1957 Project(disassembled needed everything Golden in September) Ours was in so many pieces that with a models help we played "lay the stude parts around the shell "to see whats missing game. No fun. We bought a 1958 rusty Golden for parts. So when you figure what you need we might have extras.
