Question about supercharger wire

There is a wire on top of the supercharger, that comes out from underneath the McCullough emblem. It has two wires, and a rubber fitting at the end. Anyone know what it is for, or what plugs into it?

There should only be one wire and it goes from the solenoid under the emblem, to the kickdown switch on the throttle lever by the carb. The switch grounds the solenoid at WOT and allows the drive pulley to spread and drop the belt to High Blower position.
