The metal strip across the top of our '53 Commander dash is worse for wear and needs its luster brought back. No pitting, just tarnished. Suggestions?

I'll second the Wenol suggestion. I finish up all of my stainless restorations with Wenol and use it to maintain chrome and stainless trim. Too bad they stopped making the "blue" Wenol, which was a finer paste and was better for "final" polishng of stainless, but the red stuff is still better than anything else I've used.quote:Originally posted by stude53

NevrDull is hard to beat when used with a bit of elbow grease, we used it in the service for chrome and brass and nothing comes close when you need to bring something to inspection quality
