Bill, that's a GREAT picture. Old Pinky looks right happy to be a Texan. What's the story about that dealership building? What's in it now?

This is my new 59 PU in front of the old Studebaker Dealership in Mineral Wells, Texas, which is about an hour West of Ft. Worth.

That is a very nice picture. The truck looks a lot like the one that was at the Carlisle, PA swap meet in October.

Yes, it was for sale. I think they wanted $10,000.00 for it. It looked like someone was buying it when I was taking pictures, so I didn't get any info about the price or seller. I think it is a 59, but I am not sure. It was a real solid old truck.

It is the same truck, came from Kansas to a collector in Mass.? who died, I think the gentleman I purchased it from in Conn. bought it at the estate sale. I didn't give near 10K and still thought it was alot! I bought my first Stude, 46 M15 in 1999, at a farm sale in N. Central Kansas for $600 and drove it home. You know they hook you like that for the first one and the ensuing purchases just keep getting more expensive!
