OK, Trivia Masters: What does A B C stand for on the Studebaker Dealer Sign being offered?

(Bonus Question / Tie-Breaker: What manufacturer's dealers used to offer "OK" Used Cars?) BP
We've got to quit saying, "How stupid can you be?" Too many people are taking it as a challenge.

I would think for $4,500 you could have one made and have change left over. i mean why would you need an original for a car lot. With signs as high as they are now, who's buying?

Can you imagine how many people would ask what is a Lark? Great sign, but for us CASO's a shocker of a price. With the items he has he must be getting these $'s or he wouldn't ask them.

                      'OK' used cars were Chevy.

Speaking of Chevrolet dealers using "OK" fot their used cars: around 5 years ago I was driving thru Roseburg, Oregon, and their Chevy dealer still had the used car section surrounded by those signs. I would imagine it still is, does anyone know for sure?

I remember our local Chevy dealer (where I about lived) always had the little yellow, blue and red "OK" tags on their better used cars, with the asking price and prior owner's last name written on opposite corners of the tag. My Dad more than once got a phone call from someone in town about his trade-in...he never minded.

Their row of used cars that were "out back"...NOT "OK"!...had a similar-sized tag in each window that read "Good Value Used Cars". That must have been Chevy-code for "don't expect much"!

I saw an old newspaper ad at the library for my hometown Stude dealer that advertised some non-descript old car for $99.00. The description under the year and make? "Hey, it runs"! No doubt, Palma Motors would have come up with something wittier!
