  • Reviveing a 6cyl

Is there anything special about reviving a stud? I usually just oil change, tranny fluid change, diesel and oil in the pistons, remove the slimey old oil filter, points, hand crank and then finally get some 6v jumpers and give her a crank with the carb primed and fed from an alternate gs tank to it syphones down and see what happens. Anything i'm missing?

You can't Spell Studebaker without STUD!

If your still thinking of buying those two 50's they've been sitting so long I would 1st check to see if the engines are stuck as is probably the case.If so pull the plugs & pour Marvels Mystery Oil down into the cylinders & let sit for a time
